Mythri Sarva Seva Samithi (MSSS) means “friendliness and service to all’ is a registered, non-profit, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)
Started in 1987 MSSS began work in Bangalore with children living on street especially waste picking children to integrate them within the mainstream of the society and has since grown to embrace multiple aspects of urban/rural poverty and environment. Its focus and expertise includes addressing issues related to waste picking families, child right activism, Women Empowerment, promoting micro-enterprise through Self Help Groups & Federations, community development, governance, Solid Waste Management (SWM), Ecological sanitation, Water and Sanitation in rural and urban communities.

Over the years MSSS has developed its own capabilities in WATER & SANITATION sector and consistently working to ensure the vulnerable sections of women and children have access to clean water and sanitation facility
Women and Children are always considered as focus group for MSSS intervention. MSSS acknowledges inherent capabilities of women in administering the well being of their family as well as of the society.
Mythri Manasa Sangama
MSSS has set up a unique solid waste management facility that closes its loop with organic farming. The farm is a demonstration and learning centre to engaged people in waste management and environmental concerns
IEC - Social Mobilisation
Information Education & Communication (IEC) programs conducted with intention to create awareness among citizens of the town/city on solid waste management.
Waste Picker Project
Trash to Treasure Project aimed at integration of informal sector in waste management. The project focuses on enumeration of waste towards building a co-operative.
