Anslem Rosario

Founder and General Secretary

Founder Director who started REDS and MSSS and has been instrumental in founding number other non profits in the social arena of Bangalore. He has been the pioneer in promoting a national movement in solid waste management, which incorporates waste pickers as key agents enabling the regular collection and recycling of waste within the neighbourhood communities. He has been Awarded Ashoka social innovator’s fellowship way back in 1989 for the innovative idea. This model of community driven waste management is systematically reduces large quantities of useful, recyclable waste going into massive landfills at the same time integrates marginalized and scattered rag pickers as productive citizens. From his deep understanding of the realities of street children in Bangalore, Anselm Rosario has been able to enter into the slums of Bangalore from there specialized in urban/rural poverty issues, provision of water supply and sanitation and many more such social services to the society.

Harish Babu S

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Harish Babu is a post graduate in sociology and has been involved in development sector for two decades. His exposure to World Bank Aided project on drinking water and rural sanitation implemented by Karnataka Rural Water Supply and Sanitation agency has helped him in specializing water supply, sanitation, rain water harvesting, water quality testing and ecological sanitation. He is well versed in community mobilization, PRA tools, advocacy, lobbying and networking. Based on his competence and expertise, he has chosen as one of the third party evaluator for Nirmal Gram Purskar and Nirmalya Rathna Puraskar in Karnataka. He holds the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization.

Narayan Bhat

President

Four decades of experience in the developmental sector, worked in many international agencies as consultant. Key strengths of Mr. Narayan Bhat is writing proposals, documentation, Training and advocacy.He holds the position of Chief President of the organization. Independent Consultant Masters in Urban Planning works with number of International agencies like World Bank, ADB, DFID and other ODAs. Currently, works with Goa Government in their World Bank project as a consultant

Mr.Rajaram V

Vice-President

An Entrepreneur who specializes in Liquid waste management heading a private company of his own. Has been associated with number of NGOs providing technical assistance. Past 2 decades he is with Msss as a vice-president and member of the board. Specializes in Liquid waste management .

Mr.Bosco Antony

Treasurer

Heads an NGO by the name of GRACE which is working on children issues in the slums of Bangalore. Organization runs 8 day care centre and has number programs for children and women in slum settlement. He holds the position of Treasurer of the organization. Children, Women and Community Mobilization

Not only CSR funding but multiple innovative options. To do business as a business house, she believes NGOs are also in a business-upliftment of lower strata of people to make them self-sustaining.

Alphonse Jemonie BA

Director of Good Will International a non profit organization that has vocational training centre recognized by the Government. Good Will International provides approximately 300 youth both male and female in number of trades like fitters, welders, computer operators etc. They specialized training for young women in tailoring, knitting and income generation activities. His work focuses on Skill Development, Vocation Training, women and children and income generation activities.

Retired UNICEF official who had headed UNICEF office at Network, USA for number of years. A prolific author on children issues and remedies currently works on Child Right and Environmental Issues. Her work focusses on Child Rights, Women and Children,Environment and Policy making.

Ms. Pankaja Ramachandra MA

Four decades of experiences in the sector of skill development and EDP programs. She worked as a trainer, resource person in all the Districts of Karnataka. She holds the position as a member of our Organisation. Her work focusses on Qualified trainer in capacity building of different categories of people from management to field level actions on EDP and Skill Development.
